LADONNA ZIMMERMAN, MSW, LCSW

I’m not your typical therapist. I believe that I speak to everyday struggles and keep things real.

I am a licensed clinical social worker, who has experienced love, loss, and pain. I am a wife, a daughter, a mom, and a sister. I am a Christian and I have been gifted with skills that make a difference in the lives of others. While I do offer therapy through a “Christian” lens if desired, I work with individuals, couples, and families based on my knowledge and skills through an evidence based therapeutic model. Treatment or intervention goals are always established collaboratively.

I am genuine, authentic, and nonjudgmental. I do bring a great deal of education, training, and practice experience to the work, but I see you as the “expert” of your life. I am just trained and skilled at developing a relationship focused on strengths and resilience factors that make it easier for you to elicit the changes you are seeking.

I believe therapy is an investment in self and our most valued relationships.

Self-love grows from actions that support our physical, psychological and spiritual growth. It means taking care of your own needs and not sacrificing your well-being to please others. It means deeply understanding that you are “enough” and that just as advised on an airplane, your O2 mask has to go on first before you can be equipped to help others.

If you are willing to invest in yourself and those relationships most valued in your life, I will work hard alongside you to provide support, encouragement, and the skills necessary to create the change you desire.

CONNECTING FIRST RESPONDERS WITH QUALIFIED PROVIDERS

Our program connects first responders with licensed providers offering therapy, counseling, and wellness services. Through scholarships, we help cover costs like insurance co-pays or out-of-pocket fees. As a nonprofit focused on first responders' well-being, we work to grow our network and give our community heroes the support they need. Our Resilience Scholarship program makes mental health and wellness care affordable and ensures they get the best treatment for their needs. We’re proud to support our local heroes on their path to better health and well-being.
